Lewis Cord "Pops" Tedder, 90, of Paragould, passed away on August 9, 2019. He was born February 3, 1929 to Arthur Mac and Nannie Belle (Crowley) Tedder. Pops retired from Foremost Dairy and Greene County Tech School District and was a member of Lake Street Baptist Church. He was a gospel singer, enjoyed gardening and wood working, and had a deep love for his family. He was proceeded in death by his parents, infant daughter Kimberly, two brothers, A.M. "Dub" Tedder and Mac Arthur Tedder, and one great grandson, Darrel Kason Dollars.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Devona "Nana" (Thompson) Tedder, of the home; one daughter, Kathy (Joe) Foss; one son, Kevin (Lynn) Tedder; three grandkids, Darra (Doug) Smith, Kacey (Barry) McBroom, Joey (Scott) Pillow; six great grandkids, Kaitlin (James) Adkins, Abby (Darreal) Shannon, Ethan Pillow, Hannah Bryson, Alex Sparr, Avery Sparr; two great great grandkids, Aydn Shannon and Liv Adkins; and special family friends, Curtis and Shauna Hitt (Cruz and Gigi), Jay and Shelli Boone (Abbey and Grant), and Sherrie Gould, all of Paragould.
Visitation will be Monday from 12:00-2:00 pm at Heath Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Warren's Chapel cemetery. Pallbearers are Bryan Shatley, Gaylon Ashabranner, Tony Grubbs, Phillip Strickland, Joe Randolph, William Russell, Charlie Cooper, and David Dinkens. Honorary pallbearers are Curtis Hitt, Jay Boone, Jackie Shatley, Rick Brady, Ben Cook, and Ronnie Smith.
