Lester Lhyman Oglesby

Lester Lhyman Oglesby, 77, of Lafe, passed away Wednesday at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. He was retired from Monroe Automotive. He was a licensed auto mechanic and a farm worker. He was the son of the late Ralph and Mable Smith Oglesby. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruthnel (Penny) Pauline Oglesby, brother, Jay Oglesby, sister, Phyllis Bounds.

He is survived by his sons, Brent (Tracy) Oglesby, Barry Oglesby all of Paragould; brothers, Jerry Oglesby, Illinois, Ralph "Huck" Oglesby, Lafe; granddaughters, Whitney Blagg, Elaina Holcomb; great grandchildren, Kaylee Wheat, Lucus Blagg, Maverick Blagg.

Visitation is Friday from 6-8 pm at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service is Saturday at 10:00 at Heath Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Greene County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Ralph Oglesby, Adam Oglesby, Tim Howe, Scott Howe, Terry Roush, Wayne Mifflin, and Tim Carter.
