Lee "Opa" Lampkins, 76, Paragould, passed away Tuesday at his home. He was born August 25, 1934 in Puryear, Tennessee the son of the late Otis and Ruby Pack Lampkins. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Earle Lampkins. Lee was a retired Tech Sergeant with the Air Force. He served in the Vietnam War and Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife: Jo Lampkins of the home; daughter and son-in-law: Ellen and Bob Krenke of Alexandria, VA; son: Joseph Lampkins of Marion, AR; sister: Shirley Peterson of Salina, KS; brothers: Jim Lampkins of Benton, KY, Sonny Lampkins of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren: April, Grace and Brett Krenke of Alexandria, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM with a public rosary service to follow at 7:30 PM, Friday at Heath Colonial Chapel. The celebration of his life will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 12:30 PM, Saturday with Father Mike Sinkler and Deacon Rex Bouldin officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
