Lavern Snider

Lavern Snider, 74, Rector, died Wednesday at her daughter's residence in Kennett, Missouri. She was born August 15, 1937 in Pocahontas the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth Harmon Box. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, L. J. Box and Geneva McCartney. She was a Homemaker and of Pentecostal faith. She is survived by her husband: Thurman Theo Snider of the home; sons: David Snider of South Haven, MI; William Snider of Huntsville, TX; Bobby Snider of Greenville, SC; Michael Snider of Paragould; Theo Snider of Labelle, FL; Jimmy Snider of Branson, MO; daughters: Sandra Burke of Kennett, MO; Kathy Durbin of Dexter, MO; Gretta Mitchell of Kennett, MO; sister: Janelle Marvin of Hooker; twenty nine grandchildren; twenty nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, Friday, at Heath Funeral Home. The celebration of her life will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, at Heath Colonial Chapel with Reverend Bill Snow officiating. Interment will follow at Woods Chapel Cemetery.
