Larry Neal Adams

Larry Neal Adams, 87, of Paragould, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. He was born on July 15, 1935, to the late Jason and Ruby Adams. Larry graduated from Greene County Tech in 1953. He married Rita Mangrum on May 9, 1959. Larry earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Arkansas State University and his Master of Accounting from Memphis State University. He became a Certified Public Accountant and owned his own accounting business. He was also an adjunct professor at ASU during the 1970s and 1980s. Larry retired around 20 years ago, but he continued serving clients on an individual basis. Larry was preceded in death by his parents.

Larry is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rita Adams; daughter, Loranne (Brock) Atwill; sons, Stephen (Amy) Adams and Neal (Jamie) Adams, all of Paragould; grandchildren, Jordon (Arjun) Sandhu of Scottsdale, Arizona, Oliver Robinson of Paragould, Luke Atwill of Maumelle, Sydney Adams of Fayetteville, and Shelby Adams of Fayetteville; great grandson, Jackson Robinson of Paragould; and sister, Jean Carolyn Jones of Paragould.

The family will receive friends Friday from 11am-1pm at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral begins at 1pm with Rev. Nathan Gramling officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Mt. Zion Cemetery Association.
