Larry Leland Bryant, 72, of Paragould, died Tuesday at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro. He was born to the late Duel and Shortie Bryant on Nov. 20, 1941, in Pumpkin Center. Larry was raised by his grandparents Joe and Dutch Vines. Larry served in the Army and the National Guard. He was a former employee of Greene County Tech schools where he worked in maintenance and was a bus driver. He was preceeded in death by his parents and grandparents, one step-granddaughter, Amanda Rogers. Survivors include his wife, Fay (Wineland) Bryant of the home; three children, Terri (Dave) Crowell of Brookland, Larry Jr. (Lisa) Bryant of Cabot, Kevin (Rhonda) Bryant of Lee's Summit, Mo.; grandchildren, Nick Lashley, Michael Bryant, Daniel Bryant, Amanda and JoAnn Bryant, Alexandra Rogers, step grandchildren Adrienne Rogers and Cody Crowell; three great-grandchildren, Addison, Chloe and Avery Jo; three half sisters, Beth, Cathy and Cindy. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Heath Funeral Home, no other services will be held. Memorials may be sent to Woods Chapel Cemetery Fund, Abilities Unlimited.
