Larry Eugene Flanrey, 69, of Brookland, passed away Monday. Larry was the son of the late Herschel and Lucille Futrell Flanrey. He was a lifelong resident of Dixie, Arkansas. Larry was a farmer for thirty five years, a maintenance electrician for forty years and the president of a local 911 for eight to ten years. He enjoyed being in his garden and spending time with his grandchildren. Larry is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Floyd Flanrey and one sister, Mary Blumburg.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Flanrey of the home; two sons, Cody (Andrea) Flanrey of Jonesboro and Larry H. Flanrey of Las Vegas, Nevada; one daughter, Lea Flanrey; two grandchildren, Shyanne Flanrey and Jaxon Flanrey; and five sisters, Georgia Jackson, Judy Speaks, Joan Maddox, Wanda Howerton and Bonnie Fesler.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at Heath Funeral Home. The service will follow at 3:00 pm.
In order to comply with CDC guidelines, there is a limitation of 80 people allowed inside the facility at one time. Face masks are required inside the building and friends are asked to practice social distancing.
