Larry Brown

James Larry Brown passed from this life on May 24th, 2013, at Advanced Care Hospital in Searcy, AR following a brief illness, at the age of 71. He was born the oldest son of Raymond and Vaudine Brown near Lorado, AR, on July 16, 1941. He lived his entire life in the Walcott area. Larry was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church since he received salvation as a young boy. He began his career with Field’s Welding Supply and continued with their acquisition by Standard Welder’s Supply over a forty year span, ending with his retirement from NexAir. Larry is survived by his wife of fifty two years, Karen Allen Brown; mother Cleavie Vaudine Greenway Brown; daughter, Jamie Stidman and her husband James; granddaughter Ann Marie Brogdon and grandson Joshua Stidman; great grandson, Jayden Brogdon, all of Greene County; brothers Danny Frank Brown and wife Sue of Sheridan, AR and Dale Lee Brown of Paragould; mother-in-law Oma Leneal Hull Allen, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Brown; father-in-law Earl Allen, and his beloved daughter, Lisa Ann Brown Brogdon. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00-8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Heath Colonial Chapel with Revs. Richard Williams and Marion Gramling officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery.
