L. C. Reeves Jr.

L. C. Reeves, Jr. was born February 4, 1949, to L. C. Sr. and Margaret Goff Reeves in Monette, Arkansas. He passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center with his wife and brothers by his side at the age of 72 years and 10 months.

L.C. held many positions in his lifetime, the most important was giving his life to Christ. He was a member of Oak Grove Heights Baptist Church. He served on the Paragould Police Department, and then a Greene County Deputy until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife Karen of 31 years; a son, Shannon (Mandy); two granddaughters, Olivia and Sadie; his mother, Margaret Reeves; three brothers, Danny, Kim, Marc (Loretta) Reeves of Paragould; two sisters, Carol (James) Martin, and Rosemary (Kenneth) Johnson of Paragould; uncle, Joe (Pauline) Reeves of Paragould; aunt, Lilly Robbins of Kansas City, Missouri; grandson, Zac Raney; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesse and Artie Reeves and Lonnie and Pearlie Goff; his father, L. C. Reeves, Sr.; brother, Chris Reeves; sister, Elizabeth Hunt; sister-in-law, Melinda Reeves; niece, Amy Biggs; and nephew, Kevin Reeves.

Visitation will be Monday from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Marc Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
