Kevin Reeves

Kevin Terrance Reeves, 24, Paragould, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at his home. Kevin was born March 26, 1986 in Paragould. Kevin will be remembered by his family and friends for his mischievous smile and adventurous ways. He loved to be outdoors, spend time with his family, watch movies, listen to music, laugh and dance. Kevin met many struggles in his short adult life, but he faced them with hope found only in Jesus Christ whom he accepted as his personal Savior as a child at Walcott Baptist Church. Kevin grew up surrounded by the loving care of his Walcott Baptist and Pleasant Valley Baptist Church families. He is currently a member of West View Baptist Church where his Uncle Marc Reeves is pastor. Kevin was loved so much and we were blessed to have him in our lives. Our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin has found his eternal peace. Survivors include his parents, Kim and Melinda Reeves; brother Kyle Reeves, all of the home; grandparents, Margaret Reeves of Oak Grove, J.M. and Belma Cossey of Walcott; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, L.C. Reeves, Uncle Chris Reeves, and Aunt Elizabeth Reeves Hunt. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, at Heath Funeral Home. His life will be celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel, 1:00 PM, Sunday, with Reverends Marc Reeves, Wilburn Griggs, and Boyce Cate officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. Pallbearers are Steve Martin, Eric Reeves, Shannon Reeves, Bobby Burrow, Mike McClelland and Monty Cossey. Honorary pallbearers are J.M. Cossey, L.C.
