Kayla Michelle McNamara, 20, of Paragould, rested in the arms of Jesus on Tuesday. She was a very loving and caring person who had a passion for animals. Kayla enjoyed reading and cooking, and she adored her niece and nephews. She loved her gym family at Anytime Fitness and was proud of the goals she achieved with her personal trainer and #fithappens bootcamp. Kayla graduated from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island with an associate's degree in Culinary Arts. While currently working towards her bachelor's degree, Kayla was employed as a nanny. Kayla was the daughter of Joan and Jeff Logsdon and Todd and Marjorie McNamara. She was preceded in death by her "Pop", Clete Schwaegel; Grandpa, Bill McNamara; and two aunts, Christy Stephans and Jean Marie Schwaegel.
Kayla is survived by her parents; sisters, Ashley (Mitchell) Cole, Liana Rios, Melisa Rios; brother, Matt Logsdon; grandmas, Dorothy Schwaegel and Geniece McNamara; grandpa and grandma, David and Marion Logsdon; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5-8 at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral is Saturday at 11:00 am at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Paragould with Pastor Paul Baumann officiating. Instead of flowers, please send memorials to the Humane Society or the O'Fallon Marching Panther Band in O'Fallon, Illinois.
