Kathy Heart of Gold Michaud, 62, of Paragould, passed away Saturday with the love of her life, Laughingbear Michaud, who passed with her. Together, they attended the First United Methodist Church. She loved flowers, gardening, and fishing. However, her greatest passion was giving. She was very devoted to working with Compassionate Care. Kathy was also the head advocate for legalizing medicinal marijuana. In fact, she was the first woman in the world cured of the disease HE. Kathy was the daughter of Nellie Riggsbee and the late Allen Riggsbee.
Survivors included her daughter, Tammy Kellim-Clements; mother, Nellie Riggsbee; granddaughter, Madison Kellim; grandson, Dylan Kellim Clements; son-in-law, Bennie Clements; several step brothers and sisters; and her dogs, Prestone, Ida, and Asa.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 Thursday at Heath Funeral Home. A graveside funeral will begin at 4pm at Linwood Cemetery with Rev. John Fleming officiating.
