Katherine Mae Cook

Katherine Mae (Stone) Cook, born July 18, 1935 in Marked Tree, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on November 17, 2010 at Greene Acres Nursing Home at the age of 75. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Cook, three brothers and four sisters, five grandchildren, Tina Cook, Donnie Cook, Wesley Cook, Ashley Cline and Infant Farmer and two great grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include nine sons: Floyd Wayne Cook of Normal, Illinois; Robert Cook of Neoga, Illinois; Jimmy Cook of Charleston, Missouri; Jason Cook of Bay and Howard Cook, Ricky Cook, Lloyd Cook, George Cook and Claude Cook, all of Paragould, one daughter, Tammy Farmer of Marmaduke, 22 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, at Heath Funeral Home. The celebration of her life will be at 10:30 AM, Friday, at Heath Colonial Chapel with Reverend Don Slatton officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Jonesboro. Active pallbearers will be Stan Owens Jr., Keith Cook, Mike Woods, Johnny Cook, DeWayne Cook and Howard Cook Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Cook and Jeff Cline.
