Karon June Straub

Karon “Kay” June Moss Straub, 80, of Paragould, passed away Thursday, April 25, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, AR. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She was an avid reader, loved crossword puzzles and cherished spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Vestle Clark Moss and siblings Marion Moss, James Moss, Jeanne Baker, George Moss, William Scorfina, and Anthony Scorfina; her husband, Joseph “Joe” Edwin Straub and her son, Robert L. Straub.

Kay is survived by her children, Joseph Edwin Straub II (Janie) of Paragould, Anthony R. Straub (Elya) of Atlanta, GA, Kenneth D. Straub (Tammy) of Paragould and Rebecca S. Kendall (Matt) of Rogers, AR; her sisters Elna Phillips of Lincoln, NE and Roberta Adams of Jackson, TN; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 27 at 1 p. m. at Greene County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
