On May 8, 2012, Mrs. Juanita Diggs, age 92, passed from this mortal sphere to her heavenly home to be with her Lord. She was born on July 6, 1919 in Bernie, Missouri. Her life was spent supporting her husband, Eugene Diggs, on their cotton and soybean farm in southeast Missouri. For the last four years she has lived at Sterling House in Maryville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Diggs, parents Ollie Kitrel Floyd and Joseph Kitrel, stepfather Amos Floyd, sisters Marcell Floyd, Wilma Snow, and brothers Dawsy, D.L., Doyle, and Tom. She is survived by her sister Eunice Bost of Dunklin County, Missouri, daughter and son-in-law Pat and Dr. Charles Raper of Maryville, TN, granddaughters and grand-sons-in-law Hope and Todd Huston of Gastonia, NC, Amy and Angelo Bufalino of Memphis, TN, Jennifer and Marc Funk of Signal Mountain, TN, and Cheryl and Chris Triko of Knoxville, TN. She was also great-grandmother and beloved “Tanmama†to eight, Morgan and Sam Stout, Alex and Zachary McWhirter, Elizabeth and Liam Funk, and William and Michael Triko. Mrs. Diggs was a life-long member of Forest Grove Baptist Church in Cardwell, Missouri. Her life will be celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel in Paragould, on Friday, May 11. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM Friday. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be sent to Forest Grove Baptist Church, 1156 S.
