Joyce Johnson

Joyce Hurt Johnson, 92, of Paragould, passed from this life on April 4, 2022. She was born on December 15, 1929, to the late Harry and Gladys Graddy Hurt. She was a member of West View Baptist Church. Joyce was the office manager at Belk Simpson for years. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and quilting. Joyce was also preceded in death by her son, Ron Johnson, and brother, James Hurt.

Survivors include her sons, Larry Johnson of Paragould, David (Kathy) Johnson of Brookland, and Carey (Robin) Johnson of Bartlett, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Linda Johnson of Jonesboro; sister, Betty Hill of Oregon; brother, Robert (Jeanetta) Hurt of Collierville, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday from 1-2pm at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould. The funeral begins at 2pm with Rev. Brian Johnson officiating. Burial is in Greene County Memorial Gardens.
