Johnny "J. P." Weaver

September 19, 1925 — August 17, 2015

Johnny "J.P." Weaver, 89, died on Monday at AMMC. He was retired from the City of Paragould Sanitation Department. He was the son of the late Johnny and Janette Weaver. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Floyd, Oras, Woodrow, and Roy, and two sisters, Opal and Monia, grandson, Matthew Parson. Survivors include his wife, Odell Weaver of the home; children, Johnny (Janeth) Weaver, James "Runt" (Jan) Weaver, Brenda (Harold) McIllwain, Linda (Alan) Parson, Pam (Donnie) Slatton, and Tammy (Jim) Carner, all of Paragould; grandchildren, Wayne, Rodney, Clint, and Nick Weaver, Robbie McIllwain, Lana Moore, Krissy Smith, Casey Parson, Sarah Cooper, Joshua Slatton, Jenny Hollis, and Kristian, Caleb, and Colton Carner; 23 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 pm at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday at 10 am at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Patrick Tucker officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Wayne, Rodney, Clint, Nick, Robbie, Casey, Joshua and Colton. Burial will follow in Finch Cemetery.
