Johnny Clifton Goodman

Johnny Goodman, 79 of Paragould, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019, at his residence surrounded by his family. Johnny was a retired Army Veteran and tool and die maker for Tenneco. Johnny was a Deacon and Sunday school teacher at East Side Baptist Church. He was a Mason and an avid Arkansas State Red Wolves and St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Johnny was born November 8, 1940, to Frank and Midge Mowery Goodman who preceded him in death as well as brothers, Sonny Goodman and Jerry Goodman.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-one years, Lanell White Goodman of the home; daughter, Jennifer (Shawn) Howington of Paragould; grandson, Lane Luther; of Paragould; sister Anne Jones of Valley View.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:00 A.M. at Heath Funeral Home with Packy Magel officiating. Burial will follow in Harvey’s Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Dowler, Terry Dowler, Jerry Lynn Goodman, Lindy Goodman, Terry Goodman, Darrell Rowland and Bill Reinhart. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Draffon, Gaylon Anderson, Doyne Shaw, Teddy Goodman, Eddie Gene Wright, Kelly Wright, Scott Watson, Winfred Cox, Ray Allen Noel and J.W. Dial.
