John Robert Davis

John Robert Davis, 82 of Paragould died Friday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. John was the retired co-owner and operator of J & L Upholstery and an ordained General Baptist Minister. He was a member of the Grace United General Baptist Church and attended the First Free Will Baptist Church. John was a WWII veteran. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Ruth Williams Davis, parents Johnnie James and Mary Rowe Davis, 2 brothers and 6 sisters. Survivors include: Wife, Hilda Joan Davis of the home, sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Davis, Mike and Sherry Davis and Barry and Stephane Davis, all of Paragould, daughter and son-in-law , Marla and John McCord of Paragould., Brother, Avon Davis of Paragould. Grandchildren, Lyn Wilson, Josh Davis, Mackenzie Davis, Zachery McCord, Tyson Davis, Aubree McCord and Trase Davis. Great grandchildren; Zac Wilson, Alec Wilson, Chloe Brown and Hayden Grace McCord. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Rayburn Formon officiating.
