John Herman Lane

John Herman Lane, 87, of Paragould, died Thursday at Chateau on the Ridge. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and retired from Monroe Auto Equipment. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Allen and Matilda Bombalaski Lane; brothers, Jerry and Bill Lane. Survivors include his wife, Mary Lane of the Home; sons, John and Kathy Lane and Kenny and Benita Lane all of Paragould; daughters, Marcia Sanders of Paragould and Pat and John Dacus of Jonesboro, AR; brother, Mike Lane of Slidell, LA. Grandchildren, John and Cristi Dacus, Joshua & Ashley Dacus, Brian and Carmen Lane, Jill and Michael Sloas, Kyle and Melanie Lane, Kenny Lane, Jr., Lindsey and Andy Locke and Farrah and Brandon Ollis. 16 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 6:30-8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Mike Sinkler officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Grandsons, John Dacus III, Joshua Dacus, Brian Lane, Kyle Lane, Kenny Lane, Jr., and Michael Sloas. Memorials may be sent to St. Mary’s Catholic Church School Fund or West View Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
