John Elvis Perry

John Elvis Perry, 80, Bono, died Monday at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born June 19, 1928 in Greene County the son of the late L. W. and Evy Zella May Proffer Perry. He was also preceded by nine brothers and sisters. Elvis was a Korean War Army veteran and retired from L A Darling after 20 years. Survivors include one sister, Frances Covington Cox of Bono and brothers: Elwood Perry of Muskegon, MI, Andrew Perry of Cave City, and Earl Perry of Walnut Ridge and several nieces and nephews. The family will recieve friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday at Heath Funeral Home. His life will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Friday at Heath Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
