John Earl Price

John Earl Price, 68, of Marmaduke was born on September 11, 1940, to John Willard and Avis LaVerne Edwards Price. He passed away on Tuesday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. John was an avid fisherman and retired from Darling Store Fixtures after 29 years. He was a faithful member of the Hurricane Methodist Church until 1995 when it closed. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Willard and Avis LaVerne Price; brothers Garry and Keith Price; sister Shelia Faries and nephews Glenn Gibson and Jon Faries. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn of the home; sons and daughter, Michael and Michelle Price, Tim and Kenny Walker and John (Eric) Price. 4 grandchildren, Ashton, Landon, Katelyn and Kylie Walker. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00-9:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 A.M. at Marmaduke 1st Baptist Church with Revs. Kim Bridges and Marston Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in Hartsoe Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Hartsoe Cemetery Fund or the Marmaduke 1st Baptist Church.
