John Carl Bauer

John Carl Bauer, 80, of Paragould, died Thursday, at his residence. He was the minister of Morning Star Evangelical Methodist Church for 56 years and attended evening services at Brown's Chapel Baptist Church. He was also a retired mechanical engineer at Monroe Auto Equipment Company. John was preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Effie Yarbrough Bauer; sister, Lottie Williams; and brothers, Luther and Cleve Yarbrough. John is survived by his wife, Dorothy Bauer of Paragould; son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Donna Bauer of Jonesboro; special nephew, Greg Adkerson of Paragould; brother and sisters-in-law, James and Joan Yarbrough and Mary Yarbrough, all of Paragould; grandchildren, Caleb, Mandi, and Eli Bauer, all of Jonesboro; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould. Funeral service will be Saturday at 10 am at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Royce Boling officiating. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family requests memorials be sent to St. Bernard's Hospice or Brown's Chapel Baptist Church.
