Joe Melvin Mitchell

Joe Melvin Mitchell, 76, of Beech Grove, died on Monday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was retired from Martin Sprocket and Gear and a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Newton and Lydia Elizabeth Henson Mitchell.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma Mitchell of the home; daughters, Tammy Lynn (Mike) Retherford and Beverly Gail (Randy) Joiner, all of Paragould; grandchildren, Zach (Kourtnee) Hobbs, Cody Hobbs, Bryton Joiner and Breanna Joiner; great grandchildren, Keegan and Kalin Hobbs; step grandchildren, Katie, William, and Taylor Retherford.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
