Joe Eddie Rawls

Joe Eddie Rawls, 78, Paragould, died Saturday at his home. He was a farmer and retired from Martin, Sprocket and Gear. He was born May 1, 1930 in Beech Grove the son of the late William and Lucy Russom Rawls. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Chlistia "Kate" Len Rawls, sisters, Euna Smith, Dessie Wren, Clora Manzo, brothers, Harvey, D.W. and Earnie Rawls. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Marie and Randy Dunlap; sons and daughters-in-law: Eddie Gale and Debbie Rawls, Billy Don and Barbara Rawls, and Jeffrey Thomas and Pam Rawls; sister: Vernie Dowdy, all of Paragould; eleven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, at Heath Funeral Home. His life will be celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel, 2:00 PM, Tuesday, with L.R. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Morrow Cemetery. His grandsons will be pallbearers and his nephews honorary pallbearers.
