Jo Etta Williams journeyed peacefully into eternal rest on January 3, 2024, at the age of 93. Born on August 7, 1930, in Jonesboro to the late William and Edith Adams, Jo Etta was a woman of remarkable character and a beacon of love and joy to many people. She married her true love, Clyne Berry Williams, Jr.

Jo Etta's passion for sewing was a true reflection of her artistic soul. She poured her heart and talent into every stitch, creating beautiful garments that lit up the lives of her loved ones. Her nimble fingers danced across the fabric, weaving together threads of love and warmth that will forever be cherished.

In her days of adventure, Jo Etta traveled alongside her beloved husband, collecting antique glass with an insatiable curiosity. Their journeys led them across the country, uncovering hidden treasures and stories that would become the fabric of their memories. Jo Etta possessed an extraordinary memory and could recount the origins and stories behind each piece of glass with unparalleled detail. Her passion for these collectibles was a testament to her unwavering dedication and tenacious spirit.

Devoted to her faith, Jo Etta found solace and strength in her Baptist community. She lived her life guided by the principles of kindness, compassion, and love. Her unwavering faith carried her through the highs and lows, and she shared its light with those whom she encountered.

Jo Etta is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, and son. She is survived by a daughter, son, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Their lives have been enriched by her love, teachings, and unwavering support.

Family and friends will meet at Brown's Chapel Cemetery at 10 AM on Friday, January 5, 2024, for a graveside funeral with Rev. Royce Boling officiating.
