Jo Ellen Hicks Meadows

Jo Ellen Hicks Meadows, 73, of Paragould, passed away Sunday at the Green House Cottages of Belle Meade. She was of the Baptist faith and retired from Focus, Inc. Jo enjoyed exercise, and she loved being around other people. Jo was the daughter of the late Joseph and Doris McDaniel. She was also preceded in death by her first husband of 51 years, Alden Ross Hicks.

Survivors included her husband, Larry Meadows; daughter, Stacy Higgins of Paragould; son, Joseph Hicks of Little Rock; sisters, Oleta Bohling, Loretta Lynn Hinojosa, Doris Doyle, and Caroline Smith; brother, Jimmy Ray McDaniel; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
