Jimmy Ree Harkness

Jimmy Ree Harkness, 66, and Regina Ann Copeland Harkness, 56, of Holly Springs, Ms. died Saturday in Forrest City due to an automobile accident. Jimmy was born February 1, 1943 in Covington, TN and was employed in Maintenance at Conagra in Memphis. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Mary Baskins Harkness and one brother, Joel Harkness. Survivors include his daughter, Tammy Harkness of Byhalia, MS; sons, Dean Harkness of Holly Springs, MS and Tony Ree of Barton, MS.; brothers, John and Danny Harkness of Memphis; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Locke and Patricia Ann Hazelrig of Covington, TN.; and five grandchildren. Regina was born December 19, 1952 in Paragould and was a Chemist employed at A & L Analytical at Bartlett, TN. She is preceded in death by her father, Archie Copeland. Survivors include her son, Dean Harkness of Holly Springs, MS; brother, Albert Allan Copeland of Paragould; and mother, Mary Ann Buffington Dobbins of Paragould .
