Jimmie Lee Woods

Jimmie Lee Woods, 87, of Paragould, passed away Monday at his home. He retired as the Maintenance Foreman from Peerless with more than 40 years of service. Jimmie enjoyed deer hunting, and he loved to help people any way he could. Jimmie was the son of the late Albert and Nadine Woods. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald, J.W., Calvin, and Danny Woods; an infant sister; and a great grandchild.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Shirley Woods; sons, Jimmy (Gwen) Woods and Nickey Woods, both of Paragould; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jay) Cook of Cabot, Stephanie Woods, Tiffany (Heath) Farmer, Jamie Woods, and Shaine Hurt all of Paragould; and eight great grandchildren.

A graveside funeral will be Wednesday at 10am at New Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Heath Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers are Jay Cook, Shaine Hurt, Chad Woods, Keith Johnston, Brad DeHart, and Rodney Woods.
