Jewel Lee Justus

Jewel Lee Justus, 89, Paragould, died Friday, August 9, 2013, at Greene Acres Nursing Home. He was born June 21, 1924 in Strawberry the son of the late Barney Elmer and Mae Bristow Justus. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Cline Justus, sisters, Martha Lyles and Dorothy Reeves. Jewel was a retired warehouse manager at Dr. Pepper Bottling Company, was a member of Griffin Memorial United Methodist Church and a WWII Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife: Nancy Justus, of the home; son and daughter-in-law: Mike and Donna Justus of Paragould; daughter and son-in-law: Dana and Brad Thomas of Rector; sister: Glenna Draffen of Montgomery, AL; brother: Fred Justus of Jonesboro; grandchildren: Brandi and Billy Keedy, Brent Justus, Blake & Tiffany Williams; great grandchildren: Jake and Will Keedy. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM, Monday, at Heath Funeral Home. His life will be celebrated at a graveside service at Greene County Memorial Gardens, 11:00 AM, Monday.
