Jesse Roy Arant

Roy Arant, 82 of Jonesboro formerly of Paragould died Thursday at NEA Hospital in Jonesboro. Roy was retired from Foremost Dairy. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Jean Arant; son, Brent Arant; brother, George Arant; sisters, Eva Smith and Ruby Hoggard; parents, Johnie B. and Ethel Blount Arant. Survivors include; brother, Johnie Arant of Biggers, AR; half-brother, Maurice King of Philadelphia, PA; half-sister, Irene Thornburg of Torrance, CA; sister, Dolly Rice of Paragould; best friend, Marge Bradshaw of Jonesboro. Visitation will be Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be a 2:00 P.M. Saturday in Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Johnie Arant officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
