Jerry Stallings

Jerry Don Stallings, 77, of Brookland, passed away Tuesday, February 21,2023. He was born April 4, 1945 to the late Willard and Marie Hasty Stallings. Jerry was a dedicated truck driver who worked hard and loved to garden. He enjoyed spending time with his family and never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eva "Bert" Stallings; son, Jimmy Don Stallings; grandchild, Jonathon Bell; twin brother, Larry Lon Stallings and brother, Billy Ray Stallings.

Left to cherish his memories include son, Michael (Tanya) Stallings of Brookland; daughters, Patty (Scott) Bell of Brookland and Jennifer (Scott) Bushong of Bono; sisters, Barbara Purcell of Paragould and Wilma Stallings of Cave City; brother, Donald Stallings of Brookland; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 2 pm Monday, February 27, 2023 at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 2pm at Heath Funeral Home with David Stallings officiating. Burial is private. Pallbearers are Scott Bushong, Scott Bell, Nathan Knight, Benton Stallings, Deitrich Fields and John Burke. Honorary pallbearers are Cash Knight and Dante Bushong.
