Jerry Dacus, 67, of Jonesboro passed away at his residence Sunday, September 30, 2018. Jerry was a contractor and electrician who enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandkids. He is preceded in death by his father, Vernon Dacus and a son, Jason Dacus.
Survivors include his mother, Doris Mae Dacus; children, Matt (Cindy) Friar, of Paragould, Shawn (Heidi) Dacus, of Lorado, Jarrah (Kenny) of Paragould, Michael Meridith, of Lorado, and Elizabeth Lamb, of Greenbrier; grandchildren, Brittni Brown, Brandy Blazer, Kaitlyn Pollard, Cheyenne Smith,l Alex Meridith, Allison Meridith, and special granddaughter, Haven Dacus, with whom he spent a lot of time; twelve great grandchildren; brothers, N. Ray Dacus, of Walnut Ridge and Roy Dacus, of Lorado; and sisters, Betty Mitchell, of Smithville and Doris Burdyshaw, of Jonesboro.
Visitation is Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside service is Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Lorado cemetery with Rev. Wayne Faulkner officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Meridith, Matt Friar, Shawn Dacus, Heath Loggains, David Klingensmith, and Darrell Cook
