Jerry Adolphe Hayden, 72, Paragould, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009 at his home. He was born July 15th, 1936 in Paragould to the late Curtis and Fannye Hayden. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Glenn Whitlock. Jerry served as produce manager at Kelley's Thriftway, assistant produce manager at Price Chopper and recently retired from Martin Sprocket and Gear. Jerry was an avid camper and fisherman and was a member of the West View Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 34 years: Dianne Hayden, mother-in-law, Wilma Whitlock, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law , Gary and Neicy Whitlock, Beverly and Dean Wooldridge, Susan and Harlon Wood, nieces, Shelley Brinkley, Stephanie Garner, Kimberly Wooldridge, Sara Wood, Serenity Hopkins, and Andrea Whitman, nephew, Zachary Whitman, and cousin and her husband, Emaline and Bob Johnston. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, at Heath Funeral Home. Jerry's life will be celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel, 3:00 PM, Tuesday, with Dr. Adrian Parker and Rev. Marc Reeves officiating. Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery.
