Jerald Clinton Baker, 71, of Paragould, died August 23, 2013, at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. Jerald was born, May 26, 1942 in Indian Village, Louisiana, to the late James Preston and Dicie Hampton Baker. Jerald was also preceded in death by three brothers, Armon Baker, Norman Baker and James Baker, and one sister Pansy Brown. Jerald attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, was a surveyor for Brown and Root Construction, and retired from Baker Janitorial. Jerald is survived by his wife: Jo Ann Baker, of the home; two children: Rhonda, and her husband, Neil Laffoon, Jeff, and his wife, Christina Baker, both of Paragould; two grandchildren: Kyle Baker, and his wife, Samantha, and Alyssa Baker; two sisters: Doris, and husband, Harold Williams, of DeRidder, Louisiana, Lois, and her husband, Charles Smith, of Sulphur, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:30 at Heath Funeral Home, Sunday, August 25.
