Jearline "Gran" Davis, 89, of Paragould, died Friday, March 4, 2011, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. She was born May 13, 1921 in Dunklin County, Missouri the daughter of the late William H. and Vivian Cook Holifield. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willis Davis, sisters, Jesse Mae Hardin and Kitty Faye Holifield. Gran was a homemaker who loved ceramics, needlepoint, cooking, gardening and interior design. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Paragould. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Linda and Rusty Clark of Jonesboro; son and daughter-in-law: Gary and Tammy Davis of Paragould; sister, Jo Vera McKelvey of Branson, Missouri; brother, Bill Holifield of Octa, Missouri; grandchildren: Christopher and Ashley Clark of Jonesboro and Logan Davis of Paragould; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated 2:00 PM Sunday at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Letchworth officiating. Interment will follow at Kennett Memorial Gardens in Kennett, Missouri. Pallbearers are Greg Holifield, Jack Holifield, Jason Lynn, Aaron Lynn, Scott Montogomery and Larry Boone. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Homemakers Sunday School Class of FUMC.
