Jeanetta Joyce Vallentine

Jeanetta Joyce Franks Vallentine, 73, of Paragould, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011. She was a 1955 graduate of Marmaduke High School and a 1969 graduate of Arkansas State University. She was a member of Marmaduke Methodist Church, Greene County Retired Teachers' Association and Arkansas Retired Teachers' Association. She taught at Marmaduke High School for 28 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marlon Pete and Vernett Franks; paternal grandparents, Carlie and Buelah Franks; maternal grandparents, Claude and Lydia Gossett and other relatives. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Vallentine; son, Robert Vallentine; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Dewayne Hamelback; sister-in-law, Billie Jean French; and brother-in-law and sister -in-law Gary and Robin Szychulski. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in Paragould at Heath Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8 PM. Funeral will begin at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Heath Colonial Chapel with Reverend Wayne Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow at Harvey's Chapel Cemetery in Marmaduke, Arkansas.
