James William Gramling, 92, passed away Monday at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born in Light, was a member of the Center Hill Church of Christ. J.W. was retired from Wonder Bread Company and a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lee Parker Gramling, sisters, Joyce Gramling, Lois Gramling, Cliffie Lou Gramling, and brothers, Jimmy Ray Gramling and Jesse Max Gramling; grandson, Jeff Adams and son-in-law, Terry Adams. He was the son of the late James Clifford "J.C" and Amanda Witcher Gramling.
Survivors include two daughters, Jan (Danny) Giles and Genia Adams all of Paragould; grandchildren, Christy (Chris) Morgan, Stacy Genovesi, Chad (Tia) Adams, and Brad Adams; great grandchildren, Taylor Morgan, Allie Morgan, Isabella Genovesi, Leo Genovesi, Kaitlyn Adams, Macy Adams, Michala McPhink, Will McPhink, Brianna Adams, Chase Adams and Grant Adams; great-great-granddaughter, Kylie Tucker.
Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10 -11 AM at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will start at 11:00 in the chapel with Michael Meredith officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Charles Long, Donis Simpson, Keith Bryson, Gary Wrenfrow, Tony Cable and Rondal Parten.
