James Mcmeans

James "Jim" McMeans, 69, of Paragould, died Monday in Little Rock. He was a retired truck driver with Emerson Electric and of the Baptist faith. He was the son of the late Harry and Mamie McMeans. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Barnett, and his brother, Chester McMeans. Jim is survived by his wife, Brenda McMeans of the home; children, Shelley Gowen of Paragould, James Wayne McMeans of South Beloit, IL, and Courtney McMeans Andrews (Maury) of Pontotoc, MS; grandchildren, Tiffany Woodard, Joshua Butler, Tatumn Kibbe, Teghan Kibbe, Carter Crabtree, and Ian McMeans; and great-grandchildren, Brice Butler and Caleb Woodard. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Thursday at 1 pm at Linwood Cemetery with Rev. Don Slatton officiating.
