James Edward O'Neal

James Edward O’Neal, 59, of Paragould died Sunday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born September 20, 1950, in Paragould to the late Edward King O’Neal and Marguerite Vaughn O’Neal. Survivors include his wife Annette of the home, son, Charles Edward O’Neal of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Amy O’Neal Thomas of Paragould; sisters, Becky Mulhollen of Jonesboro and Betty Ann Franks of Paragould plus many other relatives and friends. Jim was a retired Staff Sgt. from the 875th Army National Guard Battalion, served on the Greene County Fair Board for 30 Years and was a member of First Baptist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00-9:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Bill Steeger officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be made to the Greene County Fair Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 1827, Paragould, AR 72450 or to your favorite charity.
