James Alvin Holaway

James Alvin Holaway, 56 of Paragould, died Saturday at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. James worked at Monroe Auto for 37 years and was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William, Jr. and Lilly Hallmark Holaway and a brother, William Keith Holaway. Survivors include his wife, Linda Holaway of the home; daughter, Jamie Barrett of Brookland, AR; brothers, Joseph T., Roland M., and Michael Holaway all of Paragould; sister Deana K. Kimberlin of Berryville, AR. Granddaughter, Jalyn Michelle Barrett. Visitation will be Sunday from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services at 1:30 P.M. Monday at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Gary Morris officiating. Burial will follow in New Friendship Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or New Friendship Cemetery Fund.
