Jackie T. Roy

Jackie T. Roy, 77, of Paragould, passed away Wednesday at his home. Jackie was born October 12, 1933 in Paragould the son of the late Jess and Daisey Roy. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Melba Roy. He was a graduate of Oak Grove High School in 1954. Jackie spent many years in Rockford, Illinois and was employed by Ispen Industries and returned to Paragould after retirement about 17 years ago. He is survived by his daughters: Vickie (Jim) Manthei of Roscoe, IL, Jackquline Roy of Rockford, IL; sisters: Bernice Morton of Paragould, Bonnie Black of Jonesboro, brother: J. L. (Wanda) Roy of Paragould; grandsons: James (Nikki) Manthei, Joseph Manthei, great-grandchild: Austin Manthei and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation from 10:00-11:30 AM, Saturday at Heath Funeral Home with burial immediately following at New Friendship Cemetery.
