Ivan Hill

Ivan Dwane Hill Sr., a cherished husband, father, and grandfather passed from this life on Sunday, March 31, 2024. Ivan was born on February 23, 1961, in Leachville, to the late Bud and Betty June Hill. He married his bride, Diane Jacobs, on October 7, 1989.

Having worked for over 20 years at The Greenbrier Companies, Ivan demonstrated a strong work ethic and commitment to his craft. Beyond his professional endeavors, Ivan had a passion for artistry, finding joy in painting and drawing. His creative spirit brought beauty to the community. Ivan's notable art was his painting and restoration of the downtown caboose which is the Main Street Paragould office. He also refurbished the city mural which is displayed on the side of a building in downtown Paragould.

In addition to his artistic talents, Ivan had a knack for auto body work. He would lovingly refurbish old cars, showcasing his skills with each restoration. His dedication to his hobbies reflected his innate drive and meticulous attention to detail.

Ivan will be deeply missed by his devoted spouse of 34 years, Diane Hill; sons, Ivan (McKenzie) Hill of Paragould; Gage (Jasmine) Hill of Mexico; brothers, David (Paula) Hill of Paragould and Tony (Teresa) Hill of Paragould; and six grandchildren. Their love and support meant the world to him, and his memory will forever live on in their hearts.

A visitation will be held at Heath Funeral Home on April 4, 2024, from 6-8 PM. This gathering will be an opportunity for friends and loved ones to come together, share memories, and commemorate the legacy Ivan leaves his family.

In the warmth of Ivan's memory, let us remember his kindness, creativity, and dedication, knowing that his spirit will continue to inspire us all. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love and gratitude of those whose lives he touched.
