Irene Fain Haught

Irene Fain Haught departed this life on Monday, February 11, 2008, in St. Louis at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was 75 years old. She was of Pentecostal faith and the daughter of the late Jack Fain and Minnie Stilwell Fain. Irene had spent most of her life in Illinois where she worked and retired from Switzer Candy Company. She leaves behind her six children and their spouses, Larry and Iretha Holcomb, Karen and Larry Beliew, Hershel and Brenda Holcomb, Gary Risinger, Dennis and Cindy Risinger and Ricky and Amy Risinger; a special son, Donnie and a wonderful friend Debbie, 18 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Robert Fain of Charleston, South Carolina; two sisters, Mable McGrew of Charleston, South Carolina and Dorothy Peck of Swartz Creek, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Haught; her parents; 5 brothers; 3 sisters; and two grandchildren, Jeff Holcomb and Julie Kelly Jones. Her children will be her pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Friday at the Heath Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow at Cardwell Cemetery.
