Ibax "Gene" Eugene Huffine

Ibax Eugene Huffine passed away December 8, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital, Cape
Girardeau, MO.

He was born April 18, 1931, outside of Paragould, son of the late Ibax H. and Marie
Huffine. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; 4 brothers, Dennis, Jerry, Joe, and
Nathan; and 1 grandson, Shawn Story.

He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Campbell, MO for many years and a
Veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by one daughter, Linda Wieland of Jonesboro; step daughter and care
giver, Carolyn Ezell of Cape Girardeau, MO; step son, John (Judy) Green of Humble, TX;
sister, Christine (Glen) Austin of Cape Girardeau, MO; and sisters-in-law, Belinda Huffine
and Joan Huffine of Paragould.

He is also survived by grandchildren, Kelly Hyde, Mark Stevens, Adam Green, Shane Story
and Susan Rozanski; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and many nieces,
nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be at Heath Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 12, 2017
from 11-12 with funeral services at 12:00 noon. Burial will be at Clarks Chapel Cemetery.
