Hugh Allen Arnhart of Stanford, son of the late Frankie and Eula Hots Arnhart, passed away July 15, 2021, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center after an extended illness. Hugh, a retired truck driver, served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, and was a member of the Croft church of Christ. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and attending dirt track races with his great nephew Hayden Faulkner.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Morgan Arnhart and sister, Judy Arnhart Pillow.
Hugh is survived by a brother, Frankie (Freda) Arnhart of Fort Myers, Florida, and a brother-in-law, Bob Pillow of Stanford. Also, nephews: Chad (DeAnn) Arnhart, Jeremy (Angela) Arnhart, and Brandon Arnhart; nieces: Sherry Pillow and Terry Pillow (Steven) Kelley; great nieces and nephews: Trenton, Cheyenne, Ambrose, and Cash Arnhart, Layne and Emma Grace Kelley. He is also survived by members of Susan’s family: mother-in-law Mary Morgan; sister-in-law Kay Crisp; brother-in-law Phillip (Juli) Morgan; nieces: Kathy (Chris) Faulkner, Laurel (Sean) Gearson, and Chelle Morgan; nephew: Chris (Christy) Morgan; great nephews: Gunner (Erin), Hayden, and Cade Faulkner, Taylor and Allison Morgan, and Peyton and Mackenzie Gearson.
Visitation for Hugh will be at Heath Funeral Home from 10am to 11am Saturday, July 17, followed by a graveside service at Croft Cemetery in Stanford with Heath Vines officiating. A procession will leave from the funeral home following visitation. Serving as pallbearers are: Gunner, Hayden, and Cade Faulkner, Cash and Chad Arnhart, Layne Kelley, and Jon Gray.
