Hershel Warren Nelson

Hershel Warren Nelson, 67, of Marmaduke, died Saturday at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Hershel was retired from the Arkansas Highway Department. He was preceded in death by his father, Hobert Nelson; brothers, Stephen and David Nelson; sister, Peggy Richardson. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Nelson of the home; son, Warren Nelson; daughters, Tonya Hall all of Marmaduke and Angie (Scott) Crossno of Lafe; his mother, Vaniel Nelson , brother Paul (Linda) Nelson both of Halliday; sister, Melissa Nelson of Marmaduke. Grandchildren, Jimmy (Tabitha) Phelps, Kalan Phelps, Chris Jones, Chad Hall, Madison Nelson, Kaylee Nelson. Several Nieces, Nephews and a host of great friends. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00-8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Hartsoe Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul, David and Scottie Nelson, Bennie Stevens, Carl and Tommy Drury. Memorials may be sent to the Hartsoe Cemetery Fund.
