Henry Joseph "Bud" Schmuecker

Henry Joseph "Bud" Schmuecker, 88, of Paragould, died Friday, February 19, 2010, at Heritage Gardens of Senath in Senath, MO. Bud was born June 20, 1921 in Paragould the son of the late Leo Joseph and Theresa Marie Peters Schmuecker. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Hendrix Schmuecker, sister, Marie Dickson, and brother, Leo Schmuecker. Bud retired from the Paragould Fire Department, was a WWII veteran and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids. Bud was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He is survived by his daughters: Wyonia Pillow of Jonesboro, Tresea Dement and Henri Childress of Paragould; grandsons: Shannon Kieffner, Rick Dement, Joshua Kieffner and Gatlin Childress; great grandchildren: Julia Kieffner, Jalon Kieffner, Gracie Dement, Roman Dement, Corbyn Kieffner, and Remington Kieffner. A public rosary will be held Tuesday from 5:30-6:00 PM at Heath Funeral Home with visitation following until 8:00 PM. His life will be celebrated Wednesday, 10:00 A.M., at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Mike Sinkler and Deacon Rex Bouldin officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Pallbearers are Roger Fortenberry, Gary Prince, Danny Rogers, Greg Webb, Mike Blackford, Rex Nelson, Kenny Highfill and Alan Barnes.
