Helen Ray

Helen Florine Ray, 90, of Paragould, went Home to the Lord, Monday, December 20, 2010. She passed away at St Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was retired from Shugtown Retirement Home. She was a devoted member of Trinity Full Gospel who loved to go to church and loved to pray! She was born October 26, 1920 in Clarkston, Missouri the daughter of the late William Claud "W.C." and Bertha Mae Pace Anders. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Odell Ray, daughter, Patsy Coral Ray, brothers, Buddy Anders and Vernon Anders. Survivors include her sons: Marlin W. Ray of Paragould, Doyle W. Ray of, Paris, Tennessee, Troy Ray, Paragould; daughters: Mildred Lands of Ozark, Arkansas, Lorine Milholen of Wildersville, Tennessee. Marie Newman of Paragould, Linda McKinney of Heber Springs, Arkansas; sisters: Mary Crump of Paragould, Maxine Haggert of East Saint Louis, Illinois; 17 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, 17 Great Great Grandchildren and a host of other family and precious friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Thursday at Heath Colonial Chapel with Brother M.W. Ray and Brother Bill Newman officiating. Burial will follow at Bond Cemetery in Knobel.
