Harriet Ann Bean Boggs, age 68 of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas.


Harriet was born November 21,1955 in Paragould and is the daughter of June Ann (Newberry) Bean and the late Charles H. Bean of Paragould.


She is survived by her daughter, Amber Dawn Boggs; Mother, June Ann (Newberry) Bean; Dwight Boggs, Brother and Sister-in-law Charles Keith and Suzie Bean and many cousins, nieces and nephews.


She was a 1973 graduate of Paragould High School. After receiving her Associate Nursing Degree from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas, she worked at Arkansas Methodist Hospital as an Emergency Room Nurse.


Harriet lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, she was an avid outdoors woman, who loved to fish and duck hunt. She supported wildlife conservation efforts through Ducks Unlimited and other conservation organizations. Her true passion was for horses, she was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and always maintained a collection of horses in her pasture. She was a nurturer of all animals including the wildlife surrounding her.


Family, friends, and others whose lives Harriet touched are invited to attend a graveside service at 10 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2024 at Linwood Cemetery in Paragould, Arkansas.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Paragould, the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas, or Ducks Unlimited.
